Key information
Rockstar Games has launched a dedicated website offering a preview of the radio stations and musical tracks appearing in GTA 6. The developer promises the title will feature its most extensive in-game radio selection to date, with various celebrities, including Lana Del Rey and Morgan Wallen, serving as station hosts.
The revealed stations span diverse genres, such as Cocoteo FM for Latin music, Back Country Radio for country hits, and The Chamber 106.6 for classic metal. Other confirmed stations include AfroBank FM, Flash FM, and Dirty South Classics, featuring artists like Burna Boy, Robyn, and Trick Daddy.
A significant gameplay change allows players to listen to radio stations and on-demand podcasts while on foot. By utilizing a smartphone and headphones, users can access audio content during exploration or combat, moving beyond the previous limitation of restricting radio playback to vehicles and specific buildings.
Beyond licensed music, Rockstar plans to release an album of original tracks featuring artists like Travis Scott and Keith Richards. GTA 6 is scheduled for release on November 19 for Xbox Series X|S and PS5, though it remains uncertain if the full tracklist will be disclosed before launch.
