Key information

An individual identified as CyberLeek has issued a threat to distribute a complete, playable version of GTA 6. This follows the recent circulation of 25 minutes of footage, which Eurogamer confirmed appears legitimate and features the leaker's emblem.

The leaker claims the build contains the full story mode, including end credits. To prove the software's existence, CyberLeek has invited observers to request specific content from the game, which they promise to provide as evidence.

The release of this build is contingent upon the leaker's cryptocurrency coin achieving a market capitalization of $30 million. CyberLeek suggests Take-Two could prevent this by issuing a public apology and providing physical disks, though they speculate the company will choose to gamble on the threat being a bluff.

Rockstar previously described the leaks as heartbreaking, noting this was not the intended way for the public to view the game. Parent company Take-Two is actively seeking the leaker's identity, including attempts to subpoena Discord. GTA 6 is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on 19th November.
