A year after the original launch of Ghost of Yōtei, the Complete Edition is available now on PS5. The bundle includes the main story campaign, the Ghost of Yōtei Legends multiplayer mode, the Most Wanted roguelike mode, and the Echoes of Sekigahara narrative expansion, dividing the story between the present and flashbacks of Atsu on the continent.
English voice actor Erika Ishii returned to the recording studio at least a couple of months after finishing the main campaign to record lines for the Echoes of Sekigahara expansion. Ishii collaborated with writer Courtney Woods to introduce romantic elements reflecting Atsu's personal history.
Ishii noted that the Most Wanted roguelike mode features new dialogue with a slightly different, more mystical atmosphere similar to the mythological multiplayer. The mode also brings back Jin, with Daisaku Tsuji recording fresh lines specifically for it.
Reflecting on spending years voicing, moving, and portraying Atsu, Ishii expressed gratitude for achieving a lifelong dream, which included seeing her likeness beside PlayStation logos and interacting with professional cosplayers and co-star Daisaku Tsuji.
