During the recent Dengeki Bunko Online Autumn Festival 2026 event, Kadokawa revealed new information regarding the upcoming mobile game "Sentenced to Be a Hero -Game of the GODDESS-". The title is set in the same dark fantasy world as the light novel series "Sentenced to Be a Hero: The Prison Records of Penal Unit 9004" written by Rocket Shokai. Kadokawa will handle the domestic Japanese publishing for the game, while development is being handled by VIC GAME STUDIOS.
The second teaser visual and promotional video introduce brand-new original characters, Noi Margiela and Lisabella, who join established characters Xeno and Teorita. Official details explain that Noi and Lisabella share a "contractor and goddess" relationship akin to Xeno and Teorita. The second PV highlights these original characters and previews the mobile game's original scenario, which is supervised by original author Rocket Shokai.
Additionally, official visuals for original cast characters Batse Kivial and Doda Luzlas were shown for the first time alongside updated imagery for Xeno and Teorita. "Sentenced to Be a Hero -Game of the GODDESS-" is currently in development for release on the App Store and Google Play Store.
