Key information
Teamcraft Studios, the independent development team behind the FFXIV Teamcraft utility, announced that their crafting Roguelite game, Teamcrafter, has launched a playable demo on Steam.
According to publisher Mystic Forge, the game is inspired by focusing entirely on building perfect gear setups. Players step into the role of a craftsperson rather than a front-line hero, tasked with ensuring adventurers survive.
Players gather resources to craft weapons, armor, and gear for adventurers. They experiment with more than 150 pieces of equipment, over 40 talents, and 50 passive items before sending adventurers into automatic turn-based combat to test these theories.
Studio CEO Flavien Norman noted that both the FFXIV Teamcraft utility and Teamcrafter stem from his passion for planning, gathering, and theoretical calculations regarding gear creation.
