Key information

EA Sports FC 27 has officially launched its Future Stars campaign, a recurring event designed to highlight emerging football talents from across the globe. The first team features Liverpool player Rio Ngumoha as the primary highlight, marking his transition from an academy prospect to a featured ambassador within the game.

The inclusion of Rio Ngumoha follows his notable performance in the previous title, FC 26, where he was a frequent subject of Evolutions. According to the developer, his virtual presence in the prior game was significant, with his player item recording over 37.5 million goals and more than 30.7 million assists.

The event is scheduled to expand further on October 16, when the Future Stars Team 2 will be revealed. This upcoming update will introduce additional player items that users can acquire through specific Squad Building Challenges and various in-game objectives.

While the game has achieved strong commercial performance, leading sales in the United Kingdom and generating massive revenue, it has faced criticism regarding its reward structure. Some reports suggest that recent adjustments to rewards have negatively impacted the experience for casual players.
