Serenity Forge has announced Faraday Blues, a surreal sci-fi adventure scheduled to launch in 2027 for Xbox Series X|S and PC, with Xbox Cloud support also included. The game was revealed during the Xbox Tokyo Game Show Broadcast, following its initial publication in the United States on September 17.
The story follows a mysterious girl named Lina who wakes up in an unfamiliar place and discovers a strange table featuring playing cards depicting her parents, who do not recognize her and whose lives are filled with tragedy. Lina uses a 52-card deck containing characters, memories, items, and elements to rewrite tragic outcomes by placing character cards into conversations, locations, and key events.
Faraday Blues consists of three interconnected visual novels spanning three different eras of the Faraday family, each featuring distinct visual styles and aesthetics. Actions and choices made across time affect relationships, memories, character states, and items, carrying consequences across the eras to uncover a total of 64 different endings.
The title is being developed by Serenity Forge founder and game director Zhenghua Yang, alongside co-creator and lead artist Satchely, narrative director Kevin Ye, music contributor Kris Wilson, and a voice cast including Nichole Goodnight.
