Infinity Ward has confirmed an early access schedule for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, featuring a staggered release for its various modes. The DMZ extraction shooter is now scheduled to launch on October 20, following the campaign's early access period.
The game's DMZ mode introduces several mechanics, including FOB stations, 3D printer crafting, and bounty systems. Players will also engage with weapon acquisition, stash management, and loadout customization as part of the progression systems.
Early access to the campaign begins on October 16, while the full game launch is set for October 23. These early access benefits are available to users who digitally pre-order or pre-purchase the Standard Digital or Vault editions.
This early access offer is supported on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Steam, Battle.net, and Nintendo Switch 2.
