Key information
Infold, the developer behind the dating gacha game Love and Deepspace, shared a social media post featuring fun cocktails themed around the title's romantic interests. Each character is associated with a signature flower, such as the crabapple blossom for Caleb, the forget-me-not for Xavier, and jasmine for doctor Zayne.
The promotion included cocktail recipes and asked players to suggest secret ingredients, offering a redeem code with Diamond*100, Stamina*100, and Gold*10,000 to randomly selected participants sharing posts on social media channels.
However, the recipes for characters Rafayel and Sylus incorporated the fire lily and datura as garnishes, which are toxic, potentially deadly, and in the datura's case, a psychoactive plant.
Following community notes and widespread fan questioning, the developer published a safety notice thirty-six hours later stating that the drinks are fictional, meant for in-game purposes only, and should not be recreated or consumed in reality.
