Key information
Developer Pearl Abyss has announced a two-week delay for the upcoming Charting the Unknown DLC for Crimson Desert. The singleplayer RPG expansion will now launch on October 29, moving back from its initial release date of October 15.
The new release schedule places the launch at October 29, 2026 at 22:00 UTC, 23:00 CET, 15:00 PT, and 18:00 ET. For KST and JST regions, the expansion will unlock on October 30, 2026 at 7:00.
The delay follows a seven-month period of frequent updates for Crimson Desert, which included new critters, chests, a shotgun, difficulty options, mounts, and boss rematches, before Pearl Abyss slowed down the update pace in August to focus on DLC development.
The Charting the Unknown expansion trailer previously highlighted several features, including building construction options, running on water, and grabbing onto a shark.
