Key information

Best Buy is hosting midnight store openings for the upcoming launch of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The retailer's website currently displays a countdown leading to November 5.

This remake of the 1998 Nintendo 64 title features overhauled graphics and additional dialogue lines intended to provide characters with more personality, according to Nintendo.

The midnight events will offer a new supply of limited-edition Zelda 40th Anniversary Nintendo Switch 2 consoles and matching Pro controllers. These items were previously revealed during a Nintendo Direct last month.

Best Buy has not confirmed specific store locations or inventory quantities, noting that stock is limited and hours vary by region. Customers with existing shipping preorders may modify their orders online to switch to store pickup.

While Best Buy prepares for the launch, consumers should note that Amazon and Walmart currently list the game for $59.88, compared to the $69.99 price point at other retailers.
