Nexon has released the Frozen Trail update for the PvPvE extraction shooter ARC Raiders on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Described as the largest update to date, it introduces significant content expansions for the game.
The update adds Pendra Pass, a snow-covered map featuring the massive ARC entity known as the Emperor. Players must navigate periodic, intense cold waves that force them to seek indoor shelter.
Three new ARC enemies—Bully, Skulker, and Hydra—have been introduced. Additionally, high-difficulty content set aboard the floating ARC Frigate ship is now available for players to challenge.
At the Outpost base, a weapon enhancement system allows players to upgrade 15 different weapons. The update also overhauls the skill tree and replaces the Raider Deck with a new Reward Pass system. Free play is available until October 12, and a PvE matchmaking beta test will run from October 13 to 20.
