Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, titled "Override," has reintroduced sprites with a new pixelated aesthetic. Players can locate these items across the map using arrow key cheat codes. To utilize them in matches, players must level up and extract sprites via map-based or portable extractors.
There are currently 16 types of sprites available, featuring various additive effects. Notable variants include Gold, which grants 3x bonus XP from eliminations, and Cheat Master, which ensures correct inputs for world-found codes. A new "Trick or Treat" variant was added on Oct. 8.
Sprites offer diverse gameplay mechanics, such as automatic weapon reloading, health recovery after damage, and enhanced movement options like super jumps or midair spin attacks. Some sprites provide tactical advantages, including marking nearby enemies or revealing future Storm Circles after taking specific damage.
Sprites from the previous season are unusable in the current season but remain accessible in the Sprite Garden mode or as cosmetic options. Players can re-summon lost sprites using sprite dust, which is earned by extracting sprites during gameplay.
