Sandbox Interactive is currently conducting rigorous testing for Patch 3 of Albion Online. This upcoming update aims to expand upon the existing Dragonfire content, introducing a substantial number of adjustments across various gameplay systems.
The update features significant modifications to the Ancient Lands, including increased spawn frequency and duration for portals. Additionally, developers have adjusted enemy health values, refined rewards for central Fire Drake chests, and updated quest completion requirements for small and medium islands.
Combat mechanics are receiving broad attention, with balance changes targeting crossbows, magic staffs, war gloves, and swords, alongside specific armor and helmet tweaks. Furthermore, the Firewing Drake mount will see its fire breath attack buffed to improve solo PvE utility, while mobile players gain new combat targeting options.
Dragon encounters are also being refined, featuring nerfs to the Maeve fight at 40% health and adjustments to open-world dragon health regeneration. While these changes are currently in testing, Sandbox Interactive has not yet announced a specific release date for the patch.
