On October 9, 2026, developer Clearave launched a playable demo for its upcoming PC adventure title, Resequence: The Orchard. The game is described as an ensemble-cast horror experience that explores the terror of supernatural phenomena encroaching upon daily life.
The narrative follows protagonist Ryosuke Saito, a man struggling with the disappearance of his wife. Encouraged by his colleague Ashlyn and a student named Shoko Honda, Saito begins working as a school counselor. He soon discovers that the students seeking his guidance are all plagued by mysterious occurrences.
Gameplay mechanics involve Saito listening to the experiences and past traumas of his students. By gathering this information, players work to uncover the truth behind both the supernatural events and the disappearance of Saito's wife. The project features visuals by fracoco and a script written by the creative brand Re,AER.
The Steam demo offers approximately one hour of gameplay, covering the protagonist's counseling records and the first session with character Sogo Bon. The title is currently available for users to experience on PC.
