Key information
Japanese developer SAGA PLANETS' thief-themed visual novel AMBITIOUS MISSION is slated to launch on Steam with a Traditional Chinese version, translated and published by Shiravune. The game's Steam page is currently open, supporting Traditional Chinese subtitles and interfaces, though the official release date remains to be announced.
The narrative takes place in Sahoro City, where legends say gathering 12 stars known as Ambitions can fulfill any desire. Protagonist Mikage Nezu accidentally stumbles upon the crime scene of the phantom thief Arthe, discovering that her true identity is his classmate Kaguya Arose. After the orphanage Mikage grew up in faces trouble and Arthe intervenes to protect it, Mikage decides to join the phantom thief group as Midnight to help realize their ambitions.
According to official descriptions, the heroines feature full Japanese voice acting alongside CG, scene, music, video, and voice gallery features. The Steam edition will be an all-ages version, with an adult content DLC patch available externally through patch.moe. Previously, the title won the Player Support Prize at the 2022 Moe Game Awards and was selected for multiple categories in the Getchu.com Bishoujo Game Awards.
