Key information

The television anime adaptation of Surviving as a Shoujo Game Heroine, originally written by Harunohi Biyori, has officially announced that it will premiere in July 2027. Alongside the broadcast window announcement, the production team released a teaser visual and a special promotional video showcasing early footage and the heroine's vocal performance.

The narrative follows Alicia, an orphan living in the sword and magic world of Shell, who discovers she is the heroine of a shoujo game and that her parents' deaths were scripted plot points. Rejecting this role as boring, she dubs herself the adventurer Alia, mastering weapons and magic to become the murdering Cinderella. Complications arise when she accepts an escort commission for a villainess, pulling her into the noble conflicts of the game stage.

Following the initial anime announcement in January 2025, the official update confirmed the core production staff. The series is co-animated by STUDIO CLUTCH and Animation StudiO Seven, directed by Tokiya Sasaki, with series composition by Touko Machida, character designs by Hiroyuki Sankaku, and music composed by KOHTA YAMAMOTO, Shun Narita, and Yuki Furuhashi. Additionally, voice actress Fuka Izumi has been cast to voice the protagonist, Alia.
