Blizzard Entertainment launched Season 5 of Overwatch titled Doctrine on October 7. The shooter is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The new update introduces Doctrine as a support hero alongside the Watchpoint: Grímsvötn map. It also features a collaboration with Solo Leveling and reworks for existing heroes.
Hero reworks affect Sombra and Roadhog. Sombra undergoes a major adjustment changing her role from damage to support.
Running from October 7 until November 3, a horror-themed event mode called Mystery Madness: Play of the Dead empowers heroes upon each death.
