Konami Digital Entertainment Limited has officially launched a playable demo for the latest Castlevania series entry, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, across PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Players can experience the early game content ahead of the official launch on October 15, 2026, and carry over their demo progress to the full release.
Developed collaboratively by KONAMI, Evil Empire, and Motion Twin, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is an exploration-focused 2D action game. Set in 1499 Paris, France, 23 years after the events of Castlevania III, the story follows Rose Belmont, the daughter of hero Trevor Belmont who defeated Dracula. Armed with the Vampire Killer holy whip and various skills, players explore burning Parisian streets and Dracula's castle to battle monsters.
Physical and digital editions are currently available for pre-order. Both the Digital Midnight Edition and Physical Midnight Edition include a Rose Belmont alternate costume, a Digital Sound and Art Gallery, and in-game relic items. Additionally, pre-ordering or purchasing any version during the launch period grants an extra Alucard-style costume for Rose Belmont.
