Key information
The overseas theme park and attraction specialist site Attractions Magazine has reported that a new entry in The House of the Dead series will be titled The House of the Dead: Reawakened.
Sega Amusements International published a video on its official Instagram account featuring the message that something is about to awaken again, accompanied by the announcement that it will be exhibited at the IAAPA Expo trade show. The event is scheduled to take place starting November 16, 2026, in Orlando, Florida.
The Instagram video contains scenes of a heavily opening door, a gun-like device, and glowing red eyes behind the door, drawing expectations from fans. Furthermore, the official website of Sega Amusements International features a page with the same name containing only the message to prepare for the reawakening.
Based on Attractions Magazine being an attractions site, Sega Amusements International operating as a UK-based company handling arcade-related business, and the Instagram post including the hashtag ArcadeGames, the new project is anticipated to be an arcade gun shooting game.
