Key information
Ubisoft announced on October 9, 2026, that the mobile title Rainbow Six Mobile will officially shut down its servers on January 15, 2027. This decision marks the end of the game's lifecycle just under a year after its global launch.
The game, which brought the strategic five-versus-five combat of Rainbow Six Siege to iOS and Android devices, focused on tactical destruction of environments. Following a soft launch in 2023, the title saw a worldwide release on February 23, 2026.
Despite the impending closure, the development team confirmed that the next season will still arrive as scheduled next week. Players can continue to access the game until the final service date in January.
Ubisoft plans to share further details regarding the transition over the coming weeks. Moving forward, the development staff will shift their focus toward other long-term strategic projects within the company.
