Key information

Thunder Lotus Games has officially delayed its upcoming title, At Fate's End, from its original 2026 launch window to 2027. The developer stated that the project requires additional time to ensure a smooth release, promising that the wait will be worthwhile for players.

The game centers on a succession drama involving protagonist Shan and her estranged siblings. Players must navigate exploration and mystery investigation while wielding the God Sword Aesus to reclaim swords from family members to secure the throne.

Combat in At Fate's End distinguishes itself by incorporating verbal debates alongside swordplay. Polygon's Giovanni Colantonio noted that the game deconstructs traditional boss fights, transforming them into theatrical, emotional encounters where victory is achieved through reconciliation rather than violence.

At Fate's End is currently scheduled for release on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X. While a demo is available on Steam for player feedback, the studio has not confirmed a version for the Nintendo Switch 2, despite previous interest expressed by creative director Nicolas Guérin.
