Key information
Capcom is bringing Monster Hunter Rise to Android and iOS devices, with new store listings revealing a soft launch. Playing the title requires an active Netflix Membership, though the game runs natively on mobile hardware rather than via cloud streaming.
The mobile version features several adjustments. Challenge and Event Quests that were previously paid or temporary downloadable content can now be unlocked through progression. A new Recovery Button automatically selects appropriate healing items based on health and status.
Furthermore, the port includes reconstructed touch controls designed for smartphones and tablets, featuring unique schemes for every weapon. Visuals are adapted to look natural across various supported screen sizes and ratios.
This release arrives shortly after Capcom announced worldwide sales of 20 million units for the title. The game previously launched on Nintendo Switch in 2021 before expanding to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
