Key information

Amanita Design has officially announced Machinarium 2, marking a return to the series 17 years after the original title. Revealed during the Triple-i Initiative on the 9th, the sequel follows protagonists Josef and Berta as they embark on a brand new adventure.

The game retains the classic point-and-click adventure mechanics of its predecessor. Players must investigate their surroundings and solve various puzzles to progress through the story. The series' signature narrative style remains, utilizing character actions and animations to convey the plot rather than relying on dialogue or text descriptions.

Visually, the sequel continues the watercolor aesthetic established in the first game. The developers have maintained the detailed art style, which captures intricate mechanical structures and the rusted textures of metal surfaces.

Machinarium 2 is currently confirmed for PC and will feature official support for the Korean language. At this time, the developer has not disclosed a specific release date or confirmed if the title will be available on additional platforms.
