Morefun Studios, a subsidiary of Tencent Games, held a Japanese press and hands-on event for the open-world RPG Roco Kingdom on September 21, 2026, at Belle Salle Shibuya First. The title is scheduled for a near-future release across PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS, and Android platforms. A closed beta test is currently accepting participants ahead of its October 27 start.

Reimagined from a 2010 Chinese browser game, Roco Kingdom transports players into the vast Kalosya continent as wizards named Roco. Players bond with mysterious creatures known as Djini, which feature diverse appearances and individual behaviors across changing weather and day-night cycles.

The developers noted that the game avoids Pay2Win mechanics, featuring non-gacha recruitment where players catch Djini in the open world. While the game launched in China in March 2026, the Japanese release will follow an October closed beta test named the Quack Test, with the official service date yet to be specified.
