Publisher Justdan International announced that the otome adventure game Trouble Magia, developed by Idea Factory, is scheduled for release on December 24, 2026. The title features a fantasy narrative centered on a protagonist who travels to the Kingdom of Edel to attend Livel Magic School in hopes of breaking a mysterious curse that causes her to transform into an animal.
The gameplay involves navigating a campus life filled with unexpected incidents and secrets. Upon arrival, the protagonist finds herself under the surveillance of a group of elite student council members. As the story progresses, the initially guarded relationships between the characters evolve into romantic connections.
The cast includes various students such as a reliable childhood friend from the Magic Tools department, a cynical nobleman from the Magical Creatures department, and a prince from the Magic History department. Other key figures include a student council president studying Magic Medicine and Pharmacy, and a student from the Magic Knight department.
The game will be available in both standard and limited editions for the Nintendo Switch. The limited edition includes a special box, a localized booklet, a drama CD and soundtrack card, stickers, posters, character cards, badges, and acrylic stands. First-run copies will also include a set of character postcards.
