Key information

Nihon Falcom announced on October 7 that the Trails series has surpassed 10 million units in cumulative sales. This milestone, alongside strong performance from several titles, has led the company to upwardly revise its financial forecasts for the period ending September 2026.

The company attributes this growth to the steady sales of Trails in the Sky the 2nd, released globally on September 17, and Tokyo Xanadu eX+, which launched in Japan and Asia on July 16. Additionally, the global success of Trails in the Sky the 1st, released last September, contributed to results exceeding initial expectations.

Financial projections have been adjusted significantly. Revenue is now expected to reach 43 billion yen, while operating profit is forecasted at 28 billion yen. Ordinary profit is also projected at 28 billion yen, with net profit estimated at 19 billion yen.

To celebrate the sales milestone, Nihon Falcom plans to propose a 30 yen commemorative dividend at the December shareholders' meeting. Including the regular dividend, the total payout is expected to reach 60 yen per share, compared to 20 yen in the previous fiscal year.
