Publisher Shueisha Games and developer Apog Labs have announced that the sky-island survival game ATMOSFAR will enter early access on October 29, with a release on October 30 in Taiwan time. A new promotional video has been released to showcase the diverse environments of the game world.
Set on the planet Tykos, a world composed of floating islands and cosmic ruins, the game supports cooperative play for one to four players. Participants must navigate various biomes while contending with dynamic weather conditions, including thunderstorms, blizzards, and sandstorms.
Players can pilot various aircraft, such as reconnaissance, cargo, and combat models, to gather resources and build camps. Additionally, they can manage and upgrade a mobile aerial base called the Cloud Cruiser, customizing it with new tools and high-tech modules to explore unknown territories.
Cooperation is central to the experience, as players can work together to manage the Cloud Cruiser and coordinate flight formations. This collaborative approach is designed to increase efficiency and enhance the overall journey across the floating islands of Tykos.
