Key information
DelaJea Press has revealed a new promotional video for Blood Covenant, an upcoming cooperative horror game scheduled to launch on Steam on November 2. The title tasks players with performing dangerous cleanup duties inside an abandoned psychiatric hospital while featuring monsters that react to microphone audio.
The release functions as a one-to-four player survival horror job simulator inspired by works such as Lethal Company and Crime Scene Cleaner. Teammates take on the role of protective cleaners on a night shift, tasked with wiping blood off walls, sealing breaches, collecting samples, and surviving until an extraction van arrives.
Exploration requires dealing with creatures responding to every noise produced by tools or in-game voice chat. Players can combat these threats using melee implements including electric drills, cleavers, axes, and saws, or whatever items happen to be available on site.
Completing expeditions and gathering blood vials yields wages that fund upgrades and black market gear purchases. Deeper exploration unlocks more aggressive foes and outdoor zones with harder tasks, alongside a free demo arriving on October 8 and an appearance at the Steam Next Fest running from October 19 to 26.
