IO Interactive released a free DLC pack titled Extended Operations for 007: First Light earlier this week. The expansion aims to address earlier campaign shortcomings regarding vehicle sections and James Bond's Aston Martin.
The new DLC introduces the Valhalla Protocol mission within a TacSim mode. This mission lets players drive the Aston Martin Valhalla through the mountains of Slovakia while using rockets and twin machine guns to destroy drones and other vehicles.
The reviewer noted that while they would have preferred seeing such driving missions directly in the campaign, the DLC successfully liberates the vehicle from its garage and adds a randomized Jungle Heist operation reworking a Vietnamese hotel setting.
Additionally, the update bundles a Photo Mode, a New Game + with adjustable gadget loadouts and alternative suits, and a new 00 difficulty level. Players can also pet a bulldog, celebrating 7 million wishlists following the game's launch back in May.
