H2 Interactive officially released the physical Korean packaged edition of STAR WARS: Galactic Racer for the PS5, which became available for purchase on October 6. The action racing title was developed by Fuse Games, published by Secret Mode, and distributed physically by Plaion.
Set in the Outer Rim following the fall of the Empire, the story depicts underground syndicates expanding their influence through gambling and entertainment amidst delayed New Republic reconstruction. Players step into the role of Shade, a racer driven by revenge, to compete in the unofficial Galactic League for prize money, honor, and the title of the galaxy's top racer.
The gameplay combines high speeds, collisions, and risk-taking strategies where players can ram or push competitors to secure dominance. Participants can customize and tune the performance and appearance of various repulsorcrafts—including landspeeders, speeder bikes, skim speeders, and podracers—to match their personal driving styles.
In the single-player campaign, race results and player decisions influence the evolving story and shifting alliances. Additionally, the game features a 12-player online PvP multiplayer mode where users can utilize campaign skills and vehicle setups to compete for rankings, prestige, and rewards.
