Neon Giant has opened pre-orders for The Ascent Ultimate Edition for the Nintendo Switch 2. The official release is set for December 3, and it will be sold as a digital download on the Nintendo eShop. This edition bundles the base game and major add-on content into a single product.
Included items feature the Cyber Heist story expansion, the CyberSec Pack, and the Cyber Warrior Pack. During the pre-order period, the price is discounted by 10% from the regular price of 31,000 KRW to 27,900 KRW. This price is subject to the pre-order event conditions and cannot be considered a permanent price after it ends.
A legacy patch for existing platforms is scheduled for November 19. It will improve localization, HDR, co-op teleportation and combat spawn systems, as well as save and progression issues, and this fix will also be reflected in the Switch 2 version. The patch date and the Switch 2 release date are different.
The game is an action shooter RPG set in Veles, a metropolis ruled by a mega-corporation. It features up to four-player co-op and a combination of weapons and cyberware. A newly released trailer shows the urban environment, combat, and cooperative scenes.
