Start with your mode
EA’s 7 October Title Update 1.0.4 covers Ultimate Team, The Grounds, Career Mode and stability. The notes explicitly state that the update does not change gameplay balance or tuning. Distinguish a listed bug fix from an unverified claim that a formation or player has been weakened.
For a Career save
Keep a separate save copy where the game supports it before investigating a problem. Write down whether it involves generated players, transfer negotiations, free agents or the calendar, then find that topic in the official notes. A previous symptom does not prove that a new occurrence has the same cause.
For a FUT or loading error
- Confirm the update is finished and record your platform.
- Note the exact mode and the action immediately before the error.
- Retry once after restarting the game.
- If it persists, provide the version and reproduction steps to EA Help.
Before buying for friends
