PlayStation.Blog Taiwan has highlighted the key individuals who shape the life of the protagonist Daito in STRANGER THAN HEAVEN, detailing the encounters that transform his journey.
Suffering from severe persecution, Daito made the desperate decision to secretly board a ship in order to reach his other homeland, Japan.
Aboard the vessel, he crossed paths with the ghost ship's captain, Orpheus, and a fellow stowaway named Mashiro Yu.
Mashiro Yu is a Japanese-British man who likewise faced persecution in his homeland and sought a new beginning in Japan.
Although Orpheus initially maintained a strict attitude toward Daito for sneaking onto the vessel, the merchant gradually taught him how to survive in Japan and ultimately discovered his musical talent.
The cast also features the mysterious foreigner portrayed by Cordell Broadus, alongside Genzo Iwaki, who is portrayed by Bunta Sugawara and voiced by Takashi Ukaji.
