Wichtige Informationen
On October 11, developer Yoruhinot released a beta version of GGKeeper, a Windows 11 application designed to manage audio levels when launching PC games. The tool aims to eliminate jarring volume discrepancies by automatically adjusting game audio to a user-defined target level.
To prevent sudden loud noises during initial game launches, the software starts the audio at a level lower than the target, gradually increasing it to the desired volume. Additionally, a "chat mode" feature is included, which further lowers game audio to facilitate easier conversation while playing.
The application functions by modifying the Windows volume mixer settings directly. According to the developer, it does not interfere with game files or memory, nor does it record or transmit game audio. Unlike the native Windows "Loudness Equalization" feature, GGKeeper does not alter the internal sound dynamics or balance of the game.
Users can exclude specific games from the automatic adjustments if desired. As the software is currently an unsigned beta, Windows may display security warnings during installation or initial startup. GGKeeper is available for free.
