Neos has announced that Shin chan: Mi verano con el profesor - La semana infinita - and Shin chan: Nevado en Carbónpolis will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on March 4, 2027. These titles, originally released in 2022 and 2024 respectively, are making the transition to Nintendo's new console with various technical and gameplay improvements.
The updated versions will feature increased resolution and a 60 FPS frame rate. Quality-of-life additions include the ability to save the game at any time and compatibility with Joy-Con 2 mouse controls. Players will also be able to select their preferred language for both text and voice audio.
A physical collection containing both games on a single cartridge will be distributed in Europe and America by Clear River Games. This edition includes a reversible cover and a booklet, with pre-orders beginning October 13. While a euro price is pending, the Japanese release is set at 9900 yen.
Digital versions will be available individually or as a bundle. Furthermore, owners of the original Nintendo Switch versions will be eligible for a discounted upgrade, though specific pricing for this update has not yet been detailed.
