Legacy Games, a publisher known for hidden object and casual titles, has officially announced the upcoming closure of its online store. The marketplace, which launched in 2020 and featured over 1,000 titles, is scheduled to cease operations on December 31, 2026.
The company's broader digital infrastructure, including its website and servers, will remain active until February 28, 2027. This date marks the final opportunity for users to download and install any previously purchased games or titles claimed through Amazon Luna.
Following the February deadline, users will lose the ability to re-download their libraries. While games currently installed on a device will remain playable, deleting them will render the content permanently inaccessible. Additionally, disc download codes, rewards, and Hero Club memberships will become invalid.
Legacy Games, founded in 1998, distributed content through digital storefronts and physical media at retailers like Amazon and Walmart. The company has not disclosed a specific reason for the shutdown, opting instead to thank its customer base for their support.
