Battlefield Studios has announced the Season 5 content roadmap for Battlefield 6 and Battlefield REDSEC, which begins on October 13. The update is structured into three distinct phases scheduled over the coming months.
The initial phase, Siege of Las Vegas, introduces the Vegas Strip and Area 51 maps alongside the Rapid Royale game mode. Players will also gain access to new weaponry, including the Z84M LMG, RSPR SMG, ELR-40 Sniper Rifle, and MK24 Assault Rifle.
A limited-time collaboration with Dead Space runs from October 20 to November 7. This Halloween event features the Marker Incursion LTM, Dead Space remake-inspired sections within the Area 51 map, and exclusive cosmetic items.
Phase 2, starting November 10, adds the European Casino map for close-quarters combat, the M142 MRAS artillery vehicle, and additional gear. Phase 3, beginning December 8, introduces the Freezeout visual update, the Operation High Roller conflict, and new equipment like the B-81 Cavalry bomber and Karambit knife. Finally, a new Server Browser will allow players to manage official and community-hosted servers with custom map rotations.
