These bots utilize macros and unauthorized software to rapidly harvest resources, which has negatively impacted the game's economy. NCSoft has officially stated that maintaining a fair and enjoyable environment is their primary objective for the title.
In response to these issues, the developer has banned 4,996 accounts identified as bots or violators of the terms of conduct. The company clarified that while automated farming is prohibited, legitimate players who manually gather resources will not be penalized, as each case undergoes an exhaustive review process.
NCSoft encourages any users who believe they were unfairly penalized to contact customer support for assistance. The developer has also warned that this action is only the beginning, as they plan to implement further improvements to ensure a secure and fair gaming environment for the entire community.
