Hamster has announced that the simulation title The Drugstore will be added to its Console Archives series. The game is scheduled for release on October 15 for both the Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5 platforms.
Originally released by Human in 1998 for 32-bit home consoles, the game tasks players with managing a drugstore. The primary objectives involve expanding the business by opening numerous store locations and increasing total capital.
Success in the simulation depends on strategic decision-making regarding store locations, product selection, and target demographics. Players must carefully manage these elements to build an optimal store, and they may even receive unique product suggestions from employees with whom they have developed a rapport.
The title will be available for purchase at a price of 800 yen. This release continues Hamster's ongoing efforts to bring classic titles to modern hardware through the Console Archives label.
