GTA Writer Dan Houser Says Max Payne 3 Was "a Failure" as Fans Missed Sam Lake

Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser recently expressed regret regarding his work on the 2012 shooter Max Payne 3. During an interview for the IGN30 Icons series, Houser admitted that his creative contributions to the project were not a success.
