Nintendo announced on October 15, 2026, that a demo for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Monster Hunter Wilds will be available starting October 20. This early-game trial allows players to experience the initial story and character creation process.
The demo includes support for local wireless multiplayer. Players can carry over their progress from this trial version directly into the full retail release of the game.
The full game is scheduled for release on December 4, 2026. Pre-orders are currently open on the Nintendo Store, featuring a promotional discount that reduces the price from 4990 yen to 3742 yen until January 7, 2027.
Following the official launch of the demo, users will be able to download the software directly from the Nintendo Store product page.
