The Marvel Heroes rogue server Project TAHITI has officially unveiled its most significant content expansion to date. Developers describe this release as the biggest update ever for the game, providing extensive patch notes for the community to review.
This update introduces an Omega difficulty setting for existing content, which requires players to complete an Omega Trial first. Additionally, the patch adds three distinct game modes: a leaderboard-supported challenge mode, an infinity points farm, and a boss gauntlet. Players can also expect new gear types and an endgame currency designed for upgrading high-end equipment, alongside a comprehensive series of hero balance adjustments.
A new Doomsday event is also arriving, featuring Doctor Doom as he occupies Central Park and sections of New York City. Participants must battle his robotic forces and the villain himself to earn rewards, including event costumes, Doctor Doom hero tokens, ultimate upgrades, and a classic Doctor Doom team-up.
