Disney Lorcana has announced its 14th trading card game set, Hyperia City, scheduled to launch on October 16th at Local Game Stores alongside pre-release events, followed by a broader release at all mass retailers on October 23rd.
The new set brings musical franchises and characters to the game, featuring acts like Powerline, Gazelle, and 4*Town, alongside Pixar additions from Coco including Miguel and Hector from the Rivera family.
Hyperia City also introduces a token-like system called Ink Drops, which players can apparently use as an alternative way to pay for card costs or trigger abilities.
An exclusive card reveal from the set showcases Sir Kay – Determined to Win, a common Steel 5-cost Storyborn Knight boasting 4 Strength, 6 Willpower, and 2 lore. Illustrated by Sebastian Lozano, the character features the Competitive Edge ability, granting Challenger +3 while the player has an ink drop on the board.
