I-O Data officially announced the LCD-GDQ271ULAQ series, the latest addition to its GigaCrysta S gaming monitor lineup. The product is scheduled for shipment by the end of October, with an estimated retail price of 78,980 yen.
The monitor features a WQHD resolution paired with a 320Hz refresh rate. It utilizes Mini LED technology with 2304 zones and quantum dot integration to enhance visual quality. For competitive gaming, the device includes Night Clear Vision 2 for improved visibility in dark areas and Clear AIM2 to assist with aiming in FPS and e-sports titles.
The display supports DisplayHDR 1400 and local dimming across its 2304 zones, aiming to provide high brightness and contrast while preventing washed-out highlights or crushed blacks. The unit is designed for versatility, including built-in speakers and a remote control, making it suitable for gaming, video editing, and media consumption.
This release is part of the broader GigaCrysta brand expansion, which also includes plans for a cost-performance focused GCF series and models commemorating the company's 50th anniversary.
