Sony has officially unveiled the God of War Laufey Collector’s Box, which is scheduled for release on February 16, 2027. A notable aspect of this special edition is that it does not contain the game itself, neither in physical disc format nor as a digital code.
The package is priced at 149.99 euros on the European PlayStation Direct store. The centerpiece of the collection is a resin statue of the character Faye, which features integrated lighting and depicts the heroine battling deities atop glowing cubes while wielding the game's primary weapon.
In addition to the statue, the box includes a deck of 51 cards and a compact art book. Because the software is entirely absent from the bundle, consumers must purchase the game separately if they intend to play it.
Pre-orders are currently active, with a purchase limit of one unit per customer. This strategy of excluding the game from collector's editions was previously observed with GTA 6, and there is speculation that God of War Laufey could potentially be the final entry in the series to receive a physical release.
