Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is scheduled for release on October 15 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms. Ahead of the launch, testing reveals that the PC version offers limited graphics settings, including basic resolution, v-sync, and frame rate adjustments, but lacks advanced features like upscaling.

The game currently struggles on Steam Deck, where the reviewer reports inconsistent performance and display cropping issues that require manual resolution adjustments. Despite testing various Proton versions and clock speeds, the title remains difficult to play, leading the reviewer to advise against the Steam Deck version until patches are released.

Conversely, the ROG Ally provides a much better experience, though it requires a specific fix to address an initial black screen issue by setting the refresh rate to 120hz or lower. Once configured, the game runs at 60+ fps on the Z1 Extreme model. Intel-based handhelds like the MSI Claw and OneXPlayer 3 also perform well, consistently hitting 60 to 144 fps depending on the device and TDP settings.

While the ROG Ally and Intel devices offer strong performance, the reviewer notes minor quirks, such as occasional frame drops or performance discrepancies between hardware. To ensure the smoothest experience, the reviewer recommends using an external frame limiter like RTSS rather than the game's internal option, which negatively impacts frametimes.
