CD Projekt Red and Studio Trigger have officially unveiled the trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. Set within the Night City universe, the narrative explores themes of redemption and vengeance, questioning the lengths individuals will go to be noticed in a world obsessed with spectacle and violence.
The story follows new characters, including the former legend Viko, who struggles with life after losing cybernetic enhancements, and a nomad named D, who uncovers dangerous corporate secrets while seeking revenge. The trailer also highlights Roman and Talia, with scenes depicting Roman documenting Talia's life and D grappling with traumatic memories.
Visual cues in the footage suggest the inclusion of the Blackwall and the Relic biochip, both of which were pivotal elements in Cyberpunk 2077. These references have sparked community speculation regarding the timeline of the new series in relation to the original game.
The series is scheduled to premiere exclusively on Netflix on October 20, 2026. The production will consist of 10 episodes, promising a continuation of the franchise's focus on body modification, corporate conspiracies, and intense violence.
