Nvidia has unveiled a new DLSS 5 model designed to double processing speeds while reducing hardware load. This AI-driven resolution technology, which has been integrated into over one thousand games during the past eight years, aims to enhance graphical quality and performance across various platforms.

The rollout begins on the 16th with NBA 2K27, where the technology is expected to boost frame rates by up to 1.4 times on GeForce RTX 50 series hardware, Spark laptops, and the GeForce Now cloud service. Future supported titles will include this model as a standard feature.

Hogwarts Legacy is scheduled to receive the update on November 5. Avalanche Software is utilizing the SDK to integrate DLSS 5 and neural rendering while maintaining the game's unique visual style. Additionally, the open-world RPG Where Winds Meet is slated for a late November update, which will include multi-frame generation and super resolution support.

Nvidia also introduced a new frame generation performance mode for RTX 40 and 50 series hardware via an app beta update. Furthermore, the company showcased DLSS 5 implementation examples for the Fallout 4 RTX project and the Mirror's Edge RTX project.
