Belgian indie developer Eye Blink Twice has officially released its first-person psychological thriller, Time To Wake Up, for PC and PlayStation 5. The studio confirmed that additional versions for Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch are scheduled to arrive later this year.
The narrative follows Alan Malone, who is trapped within a dreamscape while attempting to escape traumatic memories associated with his school. Players navigate through endless classrooms and corridors filled with lockers, aiming to uncover past events by locating mysterious books and listening to a guiding voice.
Core mechanics revolve around the act of blinking, which allows players to manipulate the environment. By blinking, users can reset or shift moving elements, rotate rooms, or fill them with water. Players must also avoid the gaze of students while traversing surreal locations like distorted bathrooms and dimly lit libraries.
Time To Wake Up features official support for the Korean language. The title is currently available with a 20% discount, which remains in effect until the 27th.
